Gary Young
Senior Director, Learning Solutions
Gary is responsible for leading the human capital and learning solutions practice at Swingtech. He brings industry best-practices in Agile development to IT, instructional design, and media development to several civilian and DoD customers. Additionally, he drives efforts to implement quality management processes across the company.Gary joined Swingtech in 2015 to oversee Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Training Programs managing both the development of an integrated multi-application LMS and Webinar Platform system and interactive eLearning content covering healthcare topics. A senior leader in innovative learning, Gary has worked in numerous facets of development and deployment of eLearning and Web technologies and content over the last 20+ years. As a learning content developer, Gary created and delivered computer training courses on media and Web production that were featured on Adobe’s Website. As a creator of Laureate Education’s interactive media team, he oversaw a team with 400% year-to-year growth.
Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
In his spare time, he enjoys time with his family and playing guitar, drums, and piano.
